06NOVEMBER 2005: Great show, Wissahickon! As Mike put it, it was the best of the season so far - but make sure you really blow them away next week! Don't forget Saturday's rehersal from 10-12. Also!!! the spirit note box is out in the band room on the piano. Please turn in your spirit notes by the end of the day! We will be handing out spirit note bags Sunday before we leave for championships. If they don't fit, please find Michelle, Allison, or Jeni and give them to them! Spirit notes are a great way to end the season and we would really appreciate a full band effort. Be prepared to work on Tuesday, you guys!! JUST ONE MORE WEEK!
28OCTOBER 2005: So, no competition! Don't think that means we can slack off, you guys, we gotta be ready to roll on Tuesday! Make sure you PRACTICE and are prepared. We have NO MORE Cavalcade competitions until Hershey! So let's show them how much we've improved! We know you can do it! Seniors, don't forget to hand in your senior night stuff to Colin's mom! 27OCTOBER 2005: Come on Wissahickon! We haven't MARCHED in competition for almost a month, so let's really show the judges this weekend what it's all about! Seniors, general reminder: Make sure Colin's mom (Mrs. Hildebrand) has your Senior Night announcement stuff by TUESDAY! Make sure we keep the room clean, yada yada yada, keep the field clean... also: start your spirit notes! The box will be out in the bandroom starting next Thursday, and will be there until the end of the school day on Friday, November 11th, 2005. Make sure you get them in! 08SEPTEMBER 2005: Hoorah Wissahickon! Don't forget the first away football game is tomorrow! Show up time is at 5PM but it would be a really good idea to show up 15 minutes early! Make sure you have your uniform checked by your section leader. If you haven't signed up to help the fundraisers in place for Hurricane Katrina victims, contact Mark Keagy and he'll put you in touch to the right people. 02AUGUST 2005: Happy August, marching unit! Our first band parent meeting was last night, where the first newsletter of the season and a lot of other information regarding fundraising, bandcamp, and the schedule of the season was discussed! If you missed anything, please contact a member of the Band Parent Council, located on the back of your newsletter. As always, newsletters will be uploaded to this site and you can find them under the WBPA corner. Just click WBPA, and there will be a link for you to find this season's - and last year's as well! - newsletters. We look forward to starting Band Camp August 22nd with you!
